No one reading has forgotten that Christmas is coming, right? It’s so easy for it to slip your mind… assuming you never leave the house, turn on your television or radio, or speak to people who’ve just tried to use a road near any sort of shopping establishment.
This one hits pretty close to home. My first husband actually forgot to get me anything one Christmas. The trimmed tree, decorations, and gifts from other people (and me for him), the fruitcake, extra chocolate, and all the baking, the poinsettias everywhere, all malls, stores, radio stations bristling with tinsel and blaring carols, and of course all the Christmas specials on television didn’t twig him that just MAYBE it was time to get something for his wife!Only one of the many reasons he is an Ex.
No. No. No. First is the dentist on the 17th. Team (work) Christmas luncheon on the 19th. Try to win tickets to see Hedley on the 20th. …What else?… There is something…. Whst was it?.Santa!!!!! Not forgetting Santa!!!!
