Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for February 23, 1991
Transcript:
Nate: Dad, where's my blue sweatshirt? Dad: That old thing? I threw it away. Nate: You WHAT? That was my favorite sweatshirt! Dad: It was a rag, what's what it was! You have plenty of other shirts. That blue one was old, dirty and full of holes. Nate: Those holes were strategically placed.

Why does he even care about THAT sweatshirt when he always wears that yellow and sky blue shirt with those blue pants? And, besides, I’ve never even seen him wear his favorite sweatshirt before!
