The men in my family were all in repairs etc and could fix just about anything. My mother encouraged me to “marry a man with white hands because it means he doesn’t have to work with them.” She meant, an office worker making more money than my non-union dad. When she met my husband, her first whispered aside to me was, “He has such beautiful hands!” Well, he does. But he knows nothing about fixing things. All those beautiful hands can do is dial a phone to call someone to come fix it.And they make a lot more money now than dad did.

I like to suggest freezing convicted killers until such time as they can be revived as non killers. (or the equipment breaks down or the people paying for upkeep decide to not bother)-but freezing curling irons works too
