That’s some real leadership you see coming out of Obama. He wants to make sure everyone feels the pain if his supporters (The indolent and the stupid) have to suffer.
What he is going to find is that many of us don’t need the government day to day and in fact are paying a lot of money in taxes for very few real services.
Once the American people figure out that the government has been co-opted by those with their hands out they will be eager to see many of the government services pared back.
There is no reason the parks have to be closed. They won’t be policed but that doesn’t mean that parks and forests can’t be available to those that want to see them. But again, in Obama’s mind, that isn’t what government is about. Government doesn’t work for him unless everyone is dependent on it.
I saw a quote on Facebook yesterday that said:“The Federal Government is the one group that will break your legs, hand you crutches, and then say – There you wouldn’t have been able to walk if it weren’t for us”
Yes! I grow tired of some of the mindless personal insults of some of our more ultra conservative right wing extremists on these comment boards. And this one is particularly bad, as these people are not even Americans!!
Wrong desk, that should be Boehner, Cruz, and all the other TEA piddlers. The “right wing” is totally broken by radicals to dumb to come in from the rain, even when they don’t realize it’s their Republican representatives just “trickling down” on them!
