Back in the early 20th century, news reports abounded (was doing some research on this) of students or parents shooting teachers who gave bad grades. Of course, in those days, school boards could also tell teachers where to live and fire them if they got engaged.
Forwarding this timely warning to my son who teaches fourth grade. Thanks, Eric and Bill, for reminding me one again how litigious our world has become.
