Just OUR principAls!

This is true. One needs to have principles before one can sacrifice them.

Companies are dropping their health insurance like flies and telling their employees to jump on the welfare-healthcare.Good job Democrats!

Change that to Democrats and “We’re going to make as many human sacrifices as necessary to make Obamacare work!”

Freedom, to conservatives, means not having to pay their workers for their labor. They would reinstitute slavery tomorrow morning, if they thought they could get away with it.

The right claims they speak for the majority of Americans, even though the Democrats have the White House, the Senate, and despite being the minority in the House, received more than a million more votes during the last election than the neocons. If it wasn’t for repugnicon gerrymandering, conservatives would be the minority in the house as well. The gop represents more dirt than people…FACT.

So, when we have a law that was constitutionally enacted and vetted by the Supreme Court and the person responsible for it was re-elected on the basis of the approval of the people for that law, somehow he’s not compromising? It seems that the inflexible Tea Party/Gingrich/Rove types, who have made an uncompromising attitude so pervasive that they have cleansed their party of every who even talks to a Democrat are the uncompromising ones who refuse to negotiate. Why should we have to compromise for something that’s completely legal and most of the country wants it because a few power happy Randian fools want everybody to live under their insane principles?

mskemple: Interesting that the gop is not taking your advice. I wonder why? Could it be that once Obamacare is in full “On” mode, people will love it and the repubs will then have to run against it, in the 2014 elections? By the way…Obamacare is a LAW, passed by both houses of Congress, signed by the President, and challenged and victorious in the Supreme Court; it is not a bill.

Cleaning up the mess usually is done by Democratic Presidents, after repugnicon spending sprees, going all the way back to FDR. It is a right wing myth that they are the fiscally conservative party. It’s important to know a little history. May I suggest Googling “corporate welfare” and “history of federal budget deficits” for your enlightenment? Basically, the gop is the party of Wall Street banks, corporate America, and the incredibly wealthy. Democrats are closer to being the party of the people. Both have no problem spending the taxpayers’ money. The real issue is who receives the money.

There are a few Republican “principles” that are evident, even on these boards:"-First and foremost is, of course hatred of Obama. False accusations of his being born in a foreign country supposedly made him ineligible to be president. Now, of course, that stuff doesn’t matter since many plan to advance foreign born Ted Cruz for president.-Republican hatred of Obama led to their highest priority to make him a one term president. This effort was led by hundreds of filibusters, even of their own proposals. That showed Obama’s ‘lack of leadership’.-Obama somehow caused the crash of 2007 and 2008, was somehow responsible for the invasion of Iraq and the bungling of the Afghan war, and the bank bailout. And it was actually Bush/Cheney who killed bin Laden; Obama just happened to be there at the time.-Another “principle” is that It’s OKAY if a Republican does it! Democrats who are caught with prostitutes are run out of office by Democrats, e.g. Eliot Spitzer. Republicans in the same situation, like Sen. Vitter, are re-elected by Republicans.-Republicans hate welfare, but are insistent that price supports funnel money to ‘family farms’ like ADM. TSE Party Republican Michelle Bachmann received hundreds of dollars of government subsidy.-Blaming past presidents for stuff is not allowed if the past president is a Republican. It wasn’t Bush’s fault that we invaded Iraq using a pretext built on lies, with NO plan B, insufficient preparation, and lavish no-bid contracts for Bush supporters. That invasion was caused by Democrats who voted for authorization after they were lied to.-9/11, of course was NOT Bush’s fault, even though he was presented with evidence that it was coming. No, that was the fault of the previous president, who happened not to be a Republican.-Another Republican principal is to run on a platform of having a laser-like focus on Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, and when elected to enact anti-abortion, voter suppression, and union busting laws, and to give tax subsidies to businesses and wealthy individuals. -You can undoubtedly add some of your very own “Republican Principles” to this list.

braindead 08: Done and Done! Well said! HOWEVER…the right is very fact-resistant and will probably ignore everything you said.

Like I previously stated, “fact-resistant.” It’s difficult to appear intellectually clever and sarcastic when, at the same time, you are so sadly misinformed. I know, in the right wing world in which you reside, anything authoritatively stated by an approved authority figure, is taken as fact. Conservatives would gladly eat horse crap if an authority figure told them it tasted good.

Was there any kind of response there, or just more pus from the ZIT?-One more year in the third grade and you would be able to sound out almost all of those words.
