I’m reminded of what happened the day after Opening Day the season after the Cubs finally made it to the post-season, only to suffer the infamous Bartman game. If you recall, the next Opening Day the Cubs got blown out in their first game of the season. Next day a sign appeared in the Wrigley seats: “WAIT UNTIL LAST YEAR!!”
