Apparently you completely missed how Putin stepped in to save the failure that is o. It’s good to see you exercising your right to free speech, though. You definitely get what you pay for.
I loved how he said “….the US military doesn’t do pinprick strikes…” then proceeded to tell the American public that he’d have them do pinprick strikes on Syria….
The UN weapons inspectors were right about Iraq, but Bush had to prove his manhood anyway. Let the UN do the job in Syria, and there’s no need for a war.
“….Barry has no stick….”.Well, unfortunately you are sort of right. Although he does have the threat of a big stick which might also work. Congress seems to be waffling on giving him the big stick, which goes to show they are crappy international negotiators. Congress might yet blow a golden opportunity.
Butterflies? How about a mothhttp://sethonsurvival.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/mothra.jpgThe cartoon suits Ms. Benson’s slant and I even have some nuanced agreement, but still. It’s not what you send, it’s what is accomplished when it gets there. We’ll soon see.Respectfully,C.
Denis, M5 has those words in quotations as if he took them from another source, and at the bottom of the comment, he asks, Putin?Perhaps an earlier comment to which he replied was removed and he was asking that commentator if he was referring to Putin as a redumblican. M5 has a remarkably sarcastic wit at times and when he has lost his aplomb, it’s been about more important comments than that.Having not spoken with him, I don’t know, but I do know he is usually a very objective voice in this forumAs far as name calling goes, there are plenty of libs, cons, and independents among our contributors who would rather climb a tree and yell insults than stand their ground and explain a position. A quick read of your last few posts show you to be conservative with a tone of anger, or perhaps frustration, with the way things are being done, and I assure you you are not alone. But I am pleased to see that you are not one of those who fight in the gutters.Thank you for taking a stand against name calling, even if you only acknowledge it in the left.Sincerely,C.
Lisa, and others living in the land of ignorance, are unaware of the accurate philosophical argument that a single butterfly flexing it’s wings, may indeed affect the whole world.
Are you familiar with the inspection and verification protocols under the UN chemical and biological weapons treaties? It’s a complicated process, especially for the ignorant and ill informed.
“…..Teddy Roosevelt and Vladimir Putin would have some disagreements. But, they would have good times together outdoors….”.As leader of the Rough Riders Teddy would have either hunted with him or shot him!
Why is it necessary to have one winner and one loser? How about two world leaders working together to solve a major problem. As one who campaigned on dialogue to solve differences, Obama must be elated.
Gypsy8: Yes how absolutely absurd that a U.S. President should work with other countries to let THEM actually carry the load in international affairs or incidents!
