    McCain doesn’t back the resolution now.I’m beginning to think this is all linked to the 2014 election.

    Decades ago, international laws and treaties drew the “red line” on chemical weapons. Looking at our actions in the MIddle East over the last decades, and listening to the current debate on replacing yet another Middle East nation’s government, I’m not so concerned about Democrats, vs Republicans in the “argument”, so much as Likud actually calling the “shots”.

    9/11/01 was a criminal terrorist attack on the United States. Our subsequent attacks on other nations, have ALL been acts of WAR!

    Considering the civil war in Syria is between Iran and Russian backed, Hezbola factions, vs Al Qaeda factions behind the “Free Syrian Army”, is it worth asking WHiCH GROUP planned and executed the 9/11 attack??

    So, once you get a Noble Peace Prize you’re not allowed to wage war? Who knew…

    @Tigger

    “… vowed if Assad crossed it Military Action would be used …”

    Really? Can you link it? The president mentions a red line in this reference (about 1:42 in), but says nothing about vowing to use military action.
