“but but the world was to love us? I mean W got 50+ Nations to help him out. Obama can not even get 3. I called it, we are now ranked under France. Run away, run away….”-You don’t s’pose the RESULTS of the Iraq invasion had anything to do with their reluctance now, do you?-Maybe this time they don’t want to fix the facts to fit the policy. -Not to mention that very few of those 50+ nations sent any troops at all. And, of course, Syria has no oil, not that oil is ever a reason behind any Middle East policy.

It should be remembered the adage of “never fight a ground war in Asia”, and the fact that when you cross into Turkey and head south and/or east, your ARE in Asia. MOST of what we call the “Middle East” is Asia and not a place to interfere.

W only got the help because he lied to the world. No wonder the US has lost much of its credibility! The Hawks in the GOP destroyed it for the rest of us. (including the sensible members of the GOP)

^Harley: “W” and Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Feith, Perle, and many more knew full well everything they were saying about chemical weapons, nukes, or any other "WMD"s, were blatant lies, as confirmed by those in the Senate Intelligence Committee who voted against "W"s proposals, as well as all the UN inspectors, NSA, CIA, USAF intelligence operators- drones, planes and satellites, and it was all published in 2002 by William Rivers Pitt and Ritter, and every claim of “W” and poor dumb at the time Powell, was totally destroyed, but the cries from Republicans and a few Democratic “hawks-chicken” as well that anyone voting “no” was committing treason, made the U.S. public, AND Congress, go nuts and stupid!!

Yes, the “Gulf of Tonkin Incident” was a total fraud, but we’d already been in ‘Nam for over a decade, and that lie only led to increasing our involvement, that all the Republicans totally supported, more so than even the Dems who questioned LBJ’s claims. Congress, and the MIC, wanted a war! They got it, and my friends died. Decades later, Bush blatantly lied, and more of my friends, and my son’s died, for an even more total lie. At least in ‘Nam we had a puppet government we were supporting, and didn’t have to destroy a nation, their military, their police, their museums, and their lives, to put our puppet in charge, in both IRaq and Afghanistan.

Harleyquinn, you really have no contact with reality and your name is quite appropriate, except you spell it wrong. It should be Hellequin (one of the versions of the clown Harlequin). He was a black-faced emissary of the devil. His job was to roam the countryside with a group of demons chasing the damned souls of evil people to Hell.
