I’d love to see a law requiring the revelation of sources for mailing lists on request. I’d call it “The Path of Information Act.”
The phone list is worse. They will call you at six AM, ignore you if you say you’re not interested (assuming it’s even a real person) and then get mad and say you wasted their time when you’re really, really sure you’re not interested.
