The rule at Turner Field is "don’t expect to get to the interstate sooner than one hour after the game. When we went to the controversial 18-inning Pirates game a couple of years ago, we did not get to the Denny’s 15 miles away until 2:30 AM.
At local minor league games, the beer sales are cut off after the 7th inning. During spring training beer is sold ‘til the game is over. Though I believe it’s for the money, I asked the boss lady “Why?”. Answer was “By the time the get out of the parking lot they’re sober”.
