I don’t have a problem with, and in fact support, the actions of “whistle blowers” in corporate and government circles, BUT! there IS a difference between whistle blowing, and TREASON committed in violation of oaths taken saying you will NOT reveal critical information regarding security, or the safety of our soldiers, sailors, or airmen!
It is notable that the information revealed in the “Pentagon Papers” came out AFTER any threat to our troops was potentially affected, and only blew the whistle on multiple administrations, going back to Ike and before regarding the lies that got us into ’Nam, and the stupidity of the way both Johnson AND Nixon ran that war!
That Manning is now coming out as even “stranger” than originally believed is also of “note”.
