Astronomers are too down-to-earth……….and they want people who are out of this world.

Astronomers spend their time dancing around with three legged companions (tripods)…..and probably two left feet……and so not good dancing partners.

The music of space sounds don"t lend themselves to earthly disambiguation and/or choreography and as such are not appealing to the technical mind.

A little kid I know who is very smart in some ways, but naive in others heard an adult say, “I feel as if I could just reach out and touch the stars!” The kid said very seriously, “You couldn’t do that, Gramma — you’d burn up!”

Yeah! I might watch then!! You ever seen the JPL team dancing around the Mars Science Lab? Or the NASA Johnson Style video? These scientists and engineers have some moves! And they’ve done a whole lot more worthwhile things than most of the celebrities.
