wbr: note; I said “corporations”, NOT “businesses”. It is big corporations that are screaming the loudest, and have the most to gain by denying benefits. I know small business people, and yes, the act DOES need to be clarified a little better, as do minimum wage formulas in some states, like mine. Fifty employees is no longer a “small” business however.
Tigger: you ARE aware it is the Republicans who refused to accept “single payer”, and they are the ones who wrote in the mandatory purchase of insurance from private companies, right? It was also Republicans who wrote and passed the law forbidding Medicare to negotiate drug prices like VA does. That really cut costs and profits too, right???
