Jeff Foxworthy once said, “If directions to your house include ‘Turn off the paved road’…you might be a redneck.” On my father-in-law’s side, there is a family cemetery where you have to turn off the paved road — so far off the paved road that you have to have a 4×4 to get there. The local funeral home has a converted Suburban it uses as a hearse just because of such cemeteries, of which there are apparently a few in the area.
