It’s not butter (see the tattoo on fat guy’s arm) that’s causing obesity. It’s the “heart healthy” low fat, whole grain diet that the AMA promotes that does. I’m sure it’s only a coincidence that what they recommend is guaranteed to drive up demand for their services.

I am off Insulin shots. Part of the reason is smaller portions. I have decreased my weight 20% over 3 years at one pound per month. I eat ice cream, butter, pasta, red meat, milk shakes, soda, etc.

“… eating whenever I felt bad…” Lots of people are in that downward spiral.

“…I’m trying that diet!..” Just remember- at the end of the month I will fast, if necessary, to drop that pound.

The British medical journal Lancet published an article last year that predicts that by 2030, more than 165 million Americans will be obese. Not fat. Obese.

This works out to what will be approximately 50% of America. If you think health care is expensive now……just you wait.

It’s not just diabetes and heart disease and high blood pressure. It’s also musculoskeletal problems. The human skeleton was not made to haul 300 pounds, and will break down when asked to do so.
