The Buckets by Greg Cravens for August 04, 2013
Transcript:
You realize that differences could have changed your lives. A more positive attitude, a few more points on a few test scores... A little less time in front of the TV, and gallivanting with your friends... And we could all be sitting in a mansion right this minute! And you could be earning a gazillion bucks a year. Well, I guess so. On the other hand, now you can make all those little differences in your life. Right, dad. You want me to interfere with my destiny?

Toby regularly confuse destiny with density. Are they distant relations of Hyacinth Bucket and/or Charlie Bucket?

I’ve long noticed that those who are fond of lecturing others about making ‘little differences’ are almost always loath to take their own advice. Oh no, to their way of thinking, it’s up to everyone else to change or improve, never themselves. It’s so much easier, after all, and besides, they have the satisfaction of blaming others for failing to benefit from their ‘wisdom.’

oh Toby. sigh. .well I guess all our hopes and dreams of wealth and being cared for in our old age will now rest squarely on the shoulders of … Eddie.

Toby don’t be such a bucket head. Oh, never mind, you were born a Bucket, and will just grow old as a Bucket. :D
