Immediately after the Benghazi attack: “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.”

    — Obama, Rose Garden, Sept. 12

“We want to send a message all around the world — anybody who would do us harm: No act of terror will dim the light of the values that we proudly shine on the rest of the world, and no act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America.”

    — Obama, campaign event in Las Vegas, Sept. 13

“I want people around the world to hear me: To all those who would do us harm, no act of terror will go unpunished. It will not dim the light of the values that we proudly present to the rest of the world. No act of violence shakes the resolve of the United States of America.”

    — Obama, campaign event in Golden, Colo., Sept. 13

A small group of people, all but two from Saudi Arabia have attacked the United States as a criminal act. We will therefore bomb Iraq until nothing is left and depose Saddam Hussein, who put out a contract on my daddy, after my daddy betrayed him after years of support.

Hmm, oops, I guess we’d better bomb Afghanistan into submission, and replace their government, and install our oil company guy to run the country, as they had nothing to do with the attack on America, but we want an oil pipeline across Afghanistan.

Okay, after we bomb Afghanistan, and fail to catch the people who attacked America, THEN we’ll do what we’ve been planning for years, and attack Iraq.

After we screw everything up, and STILL don’t get bin Laden, we’ll threaten to start another war, with Iran, because they haven’t done anything to the U.S. either, but they make Netanyahu nervous and AIPAC is on my back.

THAT is what George W. Bush SHOULD have said if he’d been truthful in any way, ever.

Intent and attempts to mislead. A spontaneous riot (gathering) is exercising what we consider free speech. All the talking bobbleheads got on TV and blamed it on a guy who produced a (poorly made) trailer that criticized islam. They threw him in prison, where he still rots today. They used his video as a scapegoat to make people think they did this spontaneously (with no pre-planning). Here’s the problem with that theory: You don’t bring RPG’s and Mortar tubes to a riot. The intent behind the labeling it a spontaneous riot was to make the event fit the narrative that we “won” the War on Terror, as Obama touted earlier in the campaign season. So the label has value.Imagine, for a moment, if he had come out and said, “Terrorists in Benghazi attacked our consulate and killed Americans.” That would be a factual statement and, that would mean his “victory” in the War on Terror was nothing but pandering to his base. He would have been called out on it, and rightfully so. We may very well have Mitt Romney as president if that had been the case. Look how much verbal abuse Bush took when the carrier splayed out “Mission Accomplished” for him, despite it not even relating to the conflict in Iraq but rather that specific Carrier’s mission. The labeling of it was a PR blitz. Why do you think the talking points went through so many permutations, despite specialists who were directly involved with it saying it was a terrorist attack and not a spontaneous riot? It was all in the effort of making Obama look better.
