I couldn’t agree more, however, every generation has it’s own style and type of music. Remember Elvis (some of us can) and his hip swinging in the fifties. Parental units hated that.
Personally, I just cant stand contemporary music but I just listen to what I like on XM and relax and not worry about it.
This is from a guy who played professional guitar from 1959 to 1975 with a few years out for Uncle Sam, who by the way insisted on my other special talents, and not on guitar.
