Way back in 8th grade we took a trip to DC. We got to see the Baltimore Orioles play. I remember trying to start a wave, but only I and 2 of my friends stood up and sat back down.
I generally avoid retail that actually has parking lots, but when I do go to such places (thank God it’s rare), I’m not adverse to leaving the cart somewhere in the endless abyss that is the parking lot. Part of my motivation is to make sure that the store has a consequence for having such sprawling parking, while my other motivation is to provide job security – SOMEBODY has to corral those carts. If everybody brought the carts back to the store, it’s likely that somebody would be out of a job.
