    I still can’t figure out why there are literally never any bugs on my car in both Germany, Japan and now Okinawa. In New Mexico, Oklahoma and elsewhere it’s a constant mess. And we have flying bugs, mosquitoes, gnats, flies.

    russell5419v: What was your speed? Usually they can avoid things that big. Same for 1 mm wire or most anything larger than a mist net.

    I used to be able to tell how far and how fast my boyfriend drove by the number of bugs on his windshield. lol

    Louisiana love bugs will blank out your windshield and your lights.

    Along I-580 between the Bay Area and Stockton, motorists seem more likely to catch loose debris in their windshields and sometimes like around Livermore, it’s lethal.
