So yes we will have clean air because noone will have a job so there will be no car pollution

I have read similar articles, but you could not even say the name California, now could you? Because you and all the other ultra conservatives hate California, do you not? By the way, the California economy is actually improving much faster than the economies of most of the other states, including the more conservative ones. So, we in California will be happy to help to drag the rest of the states out of the economic doldrums, and as we do believe in the “United States” (Heck, I am even sure that even such places as Mississippi have their good points), you are very welcome!!

As I do think this is California, we do have a very strong (some would say too strong) environmental movement, then I do not think we would allow such drilling to create such a wasteland here. However, as in the past that very environmental movement has proven to be generally reasonable enough to allow those businesses that at least attempt to be environmentally friendly to not only exist, but make quite reasonable profits in the meantime. After all, there are more millionaires and billionaires in California than just about any other state in the US. And in general, they are just as interested in keeping the place where they live as pristine as any tree hugging liberals (and in fact many of them are tree huggers themselves!!

Only good for the oil company that has drilling rights. They will pay taxes to the state and feds on the oil when it is sold to India or China so I guess it is good but has nothing to do with lower oil prices in th USA. In about 5-8 years we will be producing more oil than Saudi Araiba and will still e paying $4.00 a Gal for gas +
