I never undstood why Robb Armstrong have a 10-year-old grade school need to be a doctor. Or play a doctor. Overall the strip is great fun reading. The mom who loves proper English language and corrects others then scares the passenger with her wild driving is amazing. Then the babies keeps the family going.

Because it is funny. Joe’s mom ticks me off(her language lessons in specific), but I can still appreciate the humor she brings. Keep it coming, Robb!

I think Doctor Appleby is a parody on Doogie Howser and Marcus Welby (make us well be).

I think the doctor kid is a statement about parents pushing their kids too hard. Also, it allows for some fun jokes.
