I can’t understand why it wasn’t a train wreck in Massachusetts, since it’s the same program. Should have been; maybe it will become that way.
It is counter to the needs of the American people for legislators to do nothing and hope it fails. If you have a better idea, step up to the plate and make it happen. Single payer is the only worthwhile idea.
But to know that the system is doomed to failure, and to take no action to improve the situation (this eliminates the concept of voting to repeal only) is putting party before country. And with something of this magnitude, it is reprehensible.

Did anyone read the PATRIOT Act before it was passed? Does anyone think that most federal laws are pored over before voting begins?

Germany made serious medical advances long before WWII (when we started having bases there). Look up what Bayer alone did.
