Kidding aside — we never watch Dr. Oz, but recently we saw a teaser for his show that described some symptoms my wife has had for a long time. We watched the show and became even more concerned, so we got our doctor to get us a consultation with a specialist. It turns out she has Barrett’s Esophagus and a hiatal hernia. The surgery is on May 20th. If not for Dr. Oz, we never would have known, and it very likely would have developed into cancer.
