What good are onerous, interfering, job-killing regulations? The free market takes care of itself. And all job creators are honorable enough to take care of safety concerns without the nanny state telling them how to do it.
Texas doesn’t believe in taxes or regulations on corporations, so what’s the problem with building a business that produces the most common high explosive used in terror bombings (ammonium nitrate) next to a school and near the middle of town?
Of course, if you took away their oil, and federal funding for most of those jobs in the state, Texas would be in deep doo doo and it wouldn’t be that oil based fertilizer.
Actually, the factory was there first, and the community grew up around it. []In other words, the exact opposite of the official narrative that certain parties have been trying to spin.
