Years ago there was a TV show called “WKRP in Cincinatti,” (sp?), and they had an episode where one of the more conservative employees went to the airport to pick up a punk rock band that was to appear on the radio.When they showed up, it was without the guy sent to get them, and when asked why the lead singer explained,“We were driving along the expressway when all of a sudden he threw open the door and leaped from the vehicle.”Met with disbelieving looks he added,“That’s our story and we’re stickin’ to it.”That seems like a apt punch line for today’s strip.
