Intersting interview with an Iraqi now living in Lebanon who had a good business under Saddam. He noted that while Saddam DID set them back 100 years, the U.S. invasion and “Bush policies” set the country back 300 years! So very true his observation!
Wraithkin: it was what Bremmer did under orders from Cheney, Rumsfeld, et al that totally screwed over Iraq. Totally stupid policies, exemplified by Rummy saying all the cultural artifacts destroyed were just the same pickup driving by several times. The whole pack were idiots, and we, and Iraq will be paying for it for decades to come.
