Just so long as they don’t change their principles — the ones defined by Grover Norquist and the Koch Brothers.

So fiscal conservatism and social moderation are bad? Who’d have thought that not spending more than you have is a bad thing.

I’m an old, skinny white guy and I didn’t vote for him then, and I won’t vote for him next time.

I was highly amused by this entry in the NRC autopsy of the election: -“We have to blow the whistle at corporate malfeasance and attack corporate welfare. We should speak out when a company liquidates itself and its executives receive bonuses but rank-and-file workers are left unemployed. We should speak out when CEOs receive tens of millions of dollars in retirement packages but middle-class workers have not had a meaningful raise in years.”-They expressly DID NOT SAY that current Republican office holders should support or propose legislation or even provide oversight to prevent or deter these kinds of events.-So, we need to really, really decry these happenings even though our legislators set the stage and our contributors executed the process. Really.

‘Obama did change his principles on Same Sex Marriage’-Yeah, I’d agree with that. -What are Paul Ryan’s principles?-Remember, he voted for the Bush tax cuts, the Afghan war, the Iraq invasion, Medicare Part D, a Bush stimulus, and earmarks as far as the eye can see, ALL unfunded.-Has Ryan changed his principles? What were they to start with?
