Honesty is good, Tia.

I think if you can’t say something nice about the people within earshot then you shouldn’t say anything at all.

Never say nasty things about people behind their backs. You miss the reaction you get when you say it to their faces.

If you have nothing nice to say about someone, tell me and I’ll spread it all around

I love how Papi, Gracie and Baldo knew Tia Carmen had more to add to her statement.

If someone says something nasty to me, I have my gut to dare speaking out firmly. Be nice or “you” will be sorry.

Rather limits conversation, when the ONLY possible topic is saying nice things about people. XD

Tía Carmen’s nephew, grandnephew and grandniece all have a point there based upon their facial expressions.

As the phrase goes: “practice what you preach.”

Tia Carmen is like a lot of Catholics I know, unfortunately… of course, those that I know are a LOT younger, but still… Believe, but don’t follow.
