I join you on memory lane, remembering when I could go to the Princess Theater in Frostburg, Maryland with one dollar — get a ticket to the movie, popcorn, a soft drink, and ten cents change.
What might be called the “Theater Experience” is no more. Even if you find a movie you’d actually pay to see, the commercials they’re not even ashamed anymore to show, sticky floors, musty smells, people talking, texting and in some case talking on phones have made it impossible to enjoy as a complete experience that one actually looked forward to.
