Hope this strip isn’t very autobiographical. The last person I knew with a months-long relentless cough was really toned, all right. The fight against the lung cancer that finally killed him really helped him lose weight, you betcha.
Some toning up. My son had a coughing fit and cracked a rib. Some coughs do last longer than they should. In some cases, the cough is from acid reflux (in my case) and others it’s just a cough, with no apparent cause, that a few days of cough control medicine can knock out. Going to the doctor and going through the elimination process is the only way to if there is a cause and deal with it.

Or it could be a cough masking bronchitis or pneumonia. Better to get it checked than to be dead…
