Hate to get stuck behind an Amish funeral procession.
I think it runs back to the superstion about preventing the spirit of the departed from finding its way back home and tormenting the living. I need to look it up.
To get the funeral over with so they can go home and mourn in private.
Actually, that varies by state — funeral processions aren’t allowed to run red lights in New York!
