I like being organized as much as the next woman — especially when it comes to my make-up drawer. But this is seriously taking things way too far. It’s obvious to see that the nut-job doesn’t fall too far from the nut-job tree!

lightenup: Hey, Sis! My internet has been out for the better part
of two days so I’m only just now finally getting back online and catching up on what I’ve missed since it happened Thursday night. Did you get the big ice storm that was forecasted for your area yesterday? Living in southern Indiana, we certainly get our fair share of snow every winter (and sometimes ice too) so I can definitely sympathize with you there. Snow is fairly tolerable to drive in (depending on how much we get, of course), but ice is
the absolute worst because of how deadly it can be. I, too, wish people would stay off the roads when that occurs because no job (or whatever) anywhere is worth the possibility of giving up your life for. Hopefully it wasn’t as bad as predicted and that everything down your way is just fine today.
P.S.: The kind of drama like you mentioned in your Thursday comment is one of the biggest reasons I’m not on Facebook and never will be either. I soooooo don’t want — or need — anything like that to unbalance my otherwise quiet, peaceful life. There’s already enough things going on in the world that upsets me as it is without adding all the drama of Facebook to go along with it! :-P

lightenup I hope you all stayed safe and warm. I live in Ohio and I am still afraid to drive when it’s really bad so ignore those people. It’s much better to be safe than sorry! As for the school spelling bee, my baby girl is runner-up. They went a lot of rounds and did a lot of back and forth. We’re really proud of her! She was nervous and worried that she’d get out early. All of the kids did an awesome job!
