Irving: We could relax...go to a movie...have a nice dinner... Cathy: No one leaves until my desk is built!! Irving: Can I get water? Cathy: Water break is after step #74. Life screeches to a halt while we wait for instand gratification.

I actually enjoy doing things like this. Bought a glider a couple of weeks ago, put it together in a couple of hours by myself. It isn’t rocket science.

After the two of them trying all day to get this desk built and it’s still in a thousand frustrating pieces, I’d be more inclined to go along with Irving on this one if I were Cathy! It’s getting late. Isn’t she just as tired, hungry and thirsty as he is? She should give up, go out and just let the guys Irving found put it together in an hour tomorrow and simply be done with it already! Besides, I can’t imagine she’s going to be needing it to do work with tonight anyhow so why not?

Teresa: Thanks for the info. But what exactly were Go Comics “scare tactics” that made you go PRO to begin with? I’ve been a non-paying member since 1/21/09 and I’ve never received any messages of any kind from them except the few rare occasions I’ve emailed them about something and they sent me a computer-generated reply in return. Otherwise, nothing whatsoever from them one way or another about my non-PRO status.
