In the US do you have to pay for school pictures in advance? In Canada you only pay if you like the picture and choose to get some printed. You do get a complementary class picture whether or not you order any pictures printed of your child.
Kendor: As a friend of ours said when we encountered culture shock in Canada, “But you have to realize, we’re more civilized here.” The problem was, most of the time, she was right.
