Al sold [out] to Al?I wonder if Al Jazeera’s attempt to get into the US market will subvert its independent stance (i.e. for Americans, its ‘anti-American’ stance becomes more obsequious to American marketability interests)
Already made my comment on Al Gore under Mr. Holbert’s cartoon for today. The short of it – He doesn’t really move me.I am curious to see what Al Jazeera presents to its US viewers. Thomas Jefferson told me to do so. I even know some folks serving in the Middle East who watch them.Only time, and ratings, will tell.Respectfully,C.
anyone who tells the truth about or critisizes the U.S. is automatically anti American, just as anyone who tells the truth or critisizes Israel is antomatically anti semitic. collectively these are very thin skinned people.
That’s your best come back on this?LOL, guess you can’t challenge that Al Gore (Bore?) is a sell out and more interested in lining his pocket. Oh, did you get the memo that he also tried to push the sale through before the first of the year to avoid the tax hike? Typical hypocrite . . . Oh, and the Al Gore caricature is spot on.
Nice straw-man response, another argument fail.Actually I am pointing out the very valid point that Gore, and the rest of the left, will be the first to tell “the other people” they aren’t paying their “Fair Share” but take every opportunity to pay less in taxes. It’s hypocritical and you know it is, otherwise you wouldn’t try to engage in a moral equivalency argument. If someone on the right, say Rupert Murdock, had done this, your panties would be in a serious twist and you would be crowing it all over the place.Instead, one of those great “Democratic Leaders” does it and you can’t bring yourself to be critical. Grow up.
