Hmm, Nate says he wants a dog, yet can’t share with Spitsy. Obviously he has a lot more growing up to do before Dad will let him have a dog. And, being eternally 11, that will never happen. Nate could carry dog treats in his pocket if he doesn’t feel right giving Spitsy people food.

That is utterly uncalled for. What some people who post comments apparently fail to understand is that this is a forum to discuss the comic strip, not to insult others. Perhaps it is worth mentioning that all I need to do is ask gocomics to shut down the comments section, and they will do so. Please, everyone, treat your fellow comics readers with respect.
