There was always bad TV. In the old days, they aimed for an average that they grossly overestimated, and sometimes they missed badly. Nowadays, demographics are well understood and it’s posssible to target the nose pickers and crotch scratcher in any group with high precision. Unfortunately, those folks are either in higher numbers or spend enough more to justify the advertising.
“Family” tv. Who’s family? Unfortunately, there are enough watchers to make those programs profitable. Unfortunately, as well, there are a lot of viewers that think that this is reality.

I have to agree with Jamaal. That is why I don’t watch anything but DVDs that I have bought. At least I know what I am getting.
