Pat Robertson also admitted that when God guaranteed him that Romney would win, God was apparently lying. (Actually, he didn’t put in those exact words… but anyone listening to that charlatan should take note whenever he claims to speak for God.)
I believe St. Peter has a very special place for people like Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swaggert, and others like them. I would love to be the proverbial fly on the wall when they are whisked away to somewhere other than what they expected.
It reminds me of the Far Side cartoon, where the devil, while leading a man into a room full of banjo players, says, “This way, Maestro…”
The Stones got me through ’Nam, and it was soooo much better than all the “country western” way too many listened to, constantly. While I do like some Johnny Cash, listening to “Ring of Fire”, on an endless loop with nothing else, for 30 straight hours was something even Cheney would condemn.

That reminds me, Pat Robertson said that the Earth is more than 6,000 years old on the 700 club Show.

“The ‘Stones! The ’Stones! I can’t believe they’re still doing it after all these years! That Fred and Barney!”
— Stephen Wright
