You gotta give him credit for forcing politicians to hold to an oath for longer than a single election cycle. But you gotta fault him for being ignorant about economics.
Willard lost the election, but it was really Grover who’s dreams were dashed. Before the election, Grover stated many times that the only skill they, the Pledge signers, needed in a president was the manual dexterity to sign legislation that the Republican Congress would send him.-Grover believed, and I do too, to a significant extent, that had Romney been elected, that Grover would be the real power behind the throne.-I am glad that Obama was reelected, but not euphoric. However, I am profoundly relieved that Romney/Norquist was not.
