They’re also doing all the stuff they’ve made it illegal for us to do.

Term limits would have done NOTHING in the current scandals. They’ve done nothing positive where they’ve been tried. If you want turnover, the solution is to let candidates compete on a level playing field — eliminate gerrymandering, limit campaign contributions — not “affirmitive action” style firing of everyone regardless of competence.

Maybe, and I know this is radical thinking, maybe we should get rid of the lobbyist.(last I heard, they outnumbered the members of congress.)

Lobbyists ‘help’ the veterans more than the freshmen. The veterans are the ones who filter and guide legislation, often written by lobbyists. -Witness Medicare Part D. That was no freshman mistake.-With regard to lobbyists and Congress, every legislator and all of their staff should be prohibited from ever becoming a registered lobbyist. Pretty simple solution. Not easy, but very straightforward. -If you’re going to work in or for Congress, you can’t lobby them afterward. That will absolutely eliminate certain kinds of bribes that lobbyists can offer.-Of course, Congressional insider trading needs to be eliminated, as well.
