I’m not sure where you got your ‘.4% lead’ from. “Ain’t you got no learning, bucky?” (Sarcasm intended) Even a person with a minimum understanding of ciphering should know that while a .4% lead (50.3% to 49.7%) does not indicate a ‘landslide’ or a ‘slam dunk’ it does designate one as being the winner..With that said, where does the comment “…gays in Nicaragua?” come from? That makes as much sense as the theological argument of how many angels can stand on the head of a pin.

Ah so you go by the popularity vote which does not elect the President instead of the electorial vote which does and was a LANDSLIDE! But you cling to whatever numbers help ya get by cause he lost both!

Democrats have won most of the popular vote in 5 out of the last 6 Presidential elections. This year they also had the majority of the vote for both Senate and House, but Republicans were able to handle their dwindling numbers by gerrymandering. There days are definitely numbered.

I liked the cartoon because it shows how Obama “scored” with the help of an involved and dedicated “team”. I tend to favor cartoons where a group of people work together to make something happen. Like the one where people who showed up for the New York marathon started running water and supplies to people in need instead of complaining that the race was canceled. Our nation is strongest when the people work together. The narrow margin of victory which some posters mention told “me” that voters are looking for a centrist government where no single extreme view can carry the day. They want us to work together.Respectfully,C.

I am nowhere near the level of posting (although my posts are usually longer) as Ima, and I have been retired for some dozen years now!

Can such a person even have a regular job, and work so hard for a living? Then they are always complaining that the “libes” do not have???

Mallard Fillmore (elsewhere) is about two weeks behind, too.

The right-wing radicals have been overwrought-angry for so long that now they fear if they back down for an instant, that will lose their valence and become egad neutralized!!
