Speaking of eaisly distracted and somewhat squirlley congressmen, the three men competing to be head of the science committee after Murdourk leaves are just as scarey as Murdouk and Aiken. One believes climate change is caused by solar flares, another wants us to teach ‘science’ in the light of a universe created 9 thousand years ago, and the list goes on.We need people who understand science and who are willing to teach science in a way that does not leave us behind nations like China who don’t care how hold the universe is. We cannot compete in a second millenium if we fail to compete with people who aren’t hobbled by dogma.Please write Mr. Boehnor and ask him to put scientists on the science committee.Respectfully,C.
