Is he complaining that history doesn’t record the names of all the pencil-ax-hammer-and-shovel-swingers that have gone before? Maybe it’s because they are not the people who shape history, without whom we’d all still be club-spear-and-rock-swingers and cave-hut-and-hovel-squatters.
