As an Independent voting Democrat this year, I find this cartoon offensive. The history of marriage in the Romney ancestral registry is not relevant to this 2012 election unless there has been a call for freedom of polygamy of which I’ve not heard. It is, in my opinion, insulting to the women these poorly drawn caricatures represent, as well as women today. And more than anything else, it totally ignores the myriad serious issues confronting the nation in which Mr. Britt’s cartoon is published.Mr. Britt is exercising his right of free speech, but his speech is vulgar, gratuitous, and drives more wedges between neighbors.With frustration,C.

Polygamy is a common practice in much of the world, polyandry not so much.The U.S. has some of the least restrictive divorce laws in the world, and highest divorce rates, so what is “fidelity”??
