Ashburn Stadium: Of course they want to remove critical thinking from the curriculum. They haven’t used it in decades and now they rule the state. Democrats are beginning to follow their example and Libertarians never even tried it. Vote Green, it is all that remains using it.

The Greatest Generation learned how to use slide rules in school. In addition, they (and their children, the baby boomers) learned how to calculate square roots with paper and pen. I have no clue how to actually calculate a square root (or use a slide rule). On the other hand, a quick google search will show me..
I do think it’s important to know how to do long multiplication and division, even though calculators can do that. (And it turns out, calculating square roots follows a similar algorithm to doing long division.)
