The Republican foreign policy platform is that they wouldn’t let the Benghazi ambassador get killed. Oh yeah, and that they’d defer to the Israeli Prime Minister on matters of war with Iran.
Baloney is the dish served most often in Washington DC. Its on the menu in both Houses of Congress and the White House and is served to Americans in heaping piles during elections. It has no seasoning or flavor and the bread is extra. The previous administration served it in Iraq for 5 years and lost money doing it. This administration COULD have POSSIBLY served it with soup, salad, and a nice cold beer…but that would have flown in the face of McConnell’s goal to make Obama a one term president. And one personal note…ScottPM- dude…..half a truth is a whole lie. Your posts are so mean. You accuse ppl of lying, you insult them, and you do this while repeating the lies you’ve failed to research or inventing new ones of your own. What paradigm has made you so mean? Mr. Rogers wouldn’t want to be your neighbor…and judging from your many posts, you’d be happy about that. Can we afford more thousands of deaths, phony wars to promote “defense” spending INCREASES, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and disasters like 8 years of “W” and Cheney gave us? That is EXACTLY what Romney and Ryan are promising, well, if you can hold them to any promise for more than 24 hours without them changing their minds. Oh, right, if you’re in the top 1% of the 1%, that would be “happy camper time” again.
Where I am guilty of actual half truths, I apologize. I can look out my window and tell you it’s sunny and clear, and if you are with me, that is true. It may not be where you are. We are all operating from facts we gather from sources we trust. If my source is wrong, it does not make me a liar, but it does invalidate my input. I appreciate being shown the links ppl use for their sources and have found some better than those I was using.There are many posts where I point out the bipartisan inadequacies of our leaders and policies, but the only ppl I have actually called out are the ones who first called me out…not objectively as you do here…but arrogantly and with meanness. And in case you missed it, I apologize for the comment to which you appropriately responded.I’m here to help you and everyone willing to work together put out this fire our 2 parties have started and feed. I would rather be playing a game where I can have fun and chat with my high school and college friends about family while fighting ….well… trolls…trolls are fun.However, I have election fever and have put my immature hobby aside until the cure arrives Nov 6. After that, a decision will be made and as a citizen of the United States of America, I will abide by the decision and while sending letters and emails to those elect, will support my family, my world, my nation, and my neighbors.When a ‘liberal’ has corrected me, they did so politely. We exchanged thoughts, and adjusted ideas if we agreed and agreed to disagree when we didn’t.I hope that is a satisfactory answer. 4 dead Americans in an unprotected consulate in Libya in itself is a scandal….the Obama administration is responsible for the safety of all Americans sent to serve our country in foreign nations and Libya is HighRisk assignment.-Obama led the cover-up, blaming an obvious planned terror attack on a stupid video….the State Dept. was in touch with the staff as the first and second attack were happening…knew the details and had the duty to inform the President of blow by blow accounts. -there were NO protests in Benghazi.Protesters do not arrive with mortar and rpgs.-The State Dept. had received several requests for increased security and refused to send help. The US had military in western Libya and off the coast on shipboard.There is NO excuse for this policy of acting like our people were at some sort of “protected” resort like Sweden, etal.
