Exactly why a lot of schools are dumping the federal “healthy lunch” and forgoing the subsidies. Cafeterias are loosing money and the kids are refusing to eat the meals and going hungry, or “gasp” mothers are starting to send their kids to school with lunch bags. The horror of it all. Just imagine, if families started taking the time to ensure their kids had lunch by sending it with them, then possibly the feds wouldn’t need to spend tax dollars trying to “mother” our kids and leave the parenting to the parents.
